Catalyst Precursor
Ammonium metatungstate is extensively employed as a starting material for synthesizing heterogeneous catalysts, particularly hydrodesulfurization catalysts, selective oxidation catalysts, and solid acid catalysts. Upon calcination, it decomposes to highly dispersed tungsten oxide species on supports such as alumina or silica, imparting acidity and redox functionality essential for petroleum refining and petrochemical processes.

 

Electron Microscopy Staining Agent
